storytelling and tasting gathering in the garden for a small bite and a big story
Sub title: Recipes and memories from Black Sea with Tuba Kılıç
In this Lazy Sunday, Tuba will share her recipes and memories that come from the northern coast of Turkey, where the Black Sea meets the steep green hills of Rize and Hopa. There, in her great-grandmother’s garden, cabbages grew beside beans and corn, a trio that shaped both the land and the table.
Tuba has picked from the garden of Plan C, cabbage, and from her mother’s luggage, a bag of corn flour that traveled across borders. The beans will come along. With these, she will cook small bites to share — telling stories of her grandmothers and revealing recipes from kitchens that have always been communal.
Join for a small bite and a big story, just for free!
